Discover your inner artist while I show you how easy and fun it is to create with mixed media!
Claudine Hellmuth (Ranger’s newest designer) has come up with a gorgeous signature product

YOU MAKE MY HEART SING 16x16" CANVAS
Images with music in the background is one of the hottest trends
right now…especially when it comes to the latest & greatest
from Tim Holtz!His new masks are amazing and easy to use.
We’ll create this canvas with fun new paints and inks from
Ranger and add in lots of other goodies to make a piece
of home decor about someone (or the people) who just
make your heart sing with love!
** You will have color options in class. **

HAPPY CANVAS
We'll create this fun and playful canvas using 2 8x12" natural
canvas from Canvas Concepts.
You'll learn how to work with Ranger's Distress Crackle Paint on
Maya Road chipboard, different ways to incorporate Distress Inks
over the crackle and use the inks to create a unique background
with ephemera and stamping.
We'll be using some of my favorite stamps and even one of the
brand NEW ones from Tim Holtz just released at CHA in February!
*Please bring to class : a wet adhesive such as Matte Gel Medium
or Mod Podge and a flat paint brush or foam brush. If you want to
bring pictures, the sizes I've used are a 5x7 on the top canvas and
2 cropped to 4x4" however they can be added later as well.

THAT'S MY BOY/GIRL
This is a 5x12" chipboard tiered "Stadium Book" from my signature product line with Zsiage. We will be
covering, layering, embellishing, stamping on, painting and inking to your hearts content in class!
The focus of the class is that special boy or girl in your life and your favorite photos that capture your
favorite qualities in them...you'll have a choice of paint colors (copper or raspberry pink - my 2 favorite colors
to use with my New England line to create a gorgeous contrast). You will also receive a full set of my
Chipboard "Chippies" to use throughout the book.
You'll learn some fun painting and distressing techniques with Ranger's Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabbers
with Distress Inks as well as some great stamping ideas and tricks.
**Please bring to class a basic tool kit including 12" trimmer, small sharp scissors or x-acto knife and cutting matte,
several of your favorite pictures, your favorite paper adhesive plus a wet adhesive such as Glossy Accents, sand paper or favorite sanding tool, pencil and a
black pen.

CLEARLY LOVE ACRYLIC BUILD-A-BOOK
Get ready to fall in love with Prima’s clear acrylic Build-A-Books!
We’ll be creating this book about someone you love (although theme choice can be
completely up to you).
Learn all the tricks and techniques of creating a clear album plus unique and fun ways to embellish
the book that work perfectly with the clear concept (including Prima's paintable transparencies,
paint, dimensional pearls, stickles from Ranger
and lots of BLING!!) You'll have choice of color when you get to class.
This is the one you won’t want to miss!!
FLIRTY BOOK
You will create this colorful and dimensional 9 page chipboard and transparent mini-book using
Prima's latest and greatest products! With their brand new "Flirty Little Secret" line, you'll learn
stamping and inking techniques with coordinating inks to intensify the beauty of these patterned,
flocked or glittered papers.
In addition, you'll explore some fun tips for dye inks and techniques for using Alcohol Inks to
added pre-printed transparency pages!
This class is packed with great products and
loads of gorgeous and fun techniques!!
SIMPLY ALTERED!
Explore the art of working with multi-media by altering some of our favorite Prima products to create this
one of a kind embossed chipboard layout
(or make it a wall hanging!)
I'll teach you some great layering effects to add to Prima's gorgeous 12x12 embossed chipboard while
we'll also learn to customize their fabulous embellishments like felt voila, paper, flowers, ribbon and even
crystals! We'll be using things like Alcohol Inks, colorwash, inks, paints, gesso, Perfect Pearls, Distress
Stickles, stamps and some fun techniques with sandpaper! You will leave this class inspired to use any of
these techniques on all of your Prima projects!
The possibilities are endless and you will look at Prima's alterable products in a brand new way!
BEAUTIFUL DREAMER
Create a beautiful place to record your “Hopes & Dreams” for yourself or someone you love in this 4x8” white chipboard
book from my product line with Zsiage. We’ll be using gorgeous patterned papers from Prima, paintable transparencies and
Claudine Hellmuth’s new line of Studio Paints from Ranger! Learn ways to add depth to your project using coordinating
Distress Inks, great stamping techniques using Prima’s beautifully detailed stamps and Ranger’s pigment inks to bring out all
of that detail not to mention LOTS of bling with Stickles!. This book has a 3” circle cut out of the cover so bring a picture of
the one you have hopes & dreams for! (Title is stamped and can be optional if you’d like to do a different theme)
GLIMMER DECOR
This wall hanging is made up
of 4 6x6" panels we'll attach
with ribbons on a glimmered
wooden dowel. We will be
using Prima's gorgeous
paintable papers and lots of
bling plus your choice of
colors with Glimmer Mist to
create your own personal wall
art! Lots of fun glimmer mist
techniques while you learn
how to get the look you want
by controlling the intensity of
color. You can create this to
match your own home décor
and theme of your choice.
IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE
You can pack a whole LOT in to this HUGE 6x6
mini-book! With 22 inside chipboard pages, this
book will be about 3” thick when you’re
done…you can make it a 2008 year in review
book, remember a loved one’s life or scrap about
your own wonderful life, it’s up to you! In this
multi-media project, besides using gorgeous
coordinating Prima papers, you learn to bring
you’re scrapping to a whole new level by working
in layers of paint, inks and Glimmer Mist on the
embossed chipboard cover. This project will get
your creative juices flowing!!
STAMP IT WITH PRIMA!
Acrylic stamps are a fun and easy way to create custom elements to all your scrapbooking projects. Prima’s stamps
are unique in that they can be used is many different combinations for stunning effects! In this technique based
workshop you will create 2 different single page layouts while you learn great tips for using Prima’s “Build-A-Swirl”
and “Build-A-Frame” sets, Journaling stamps and “Impress Repeating Stamps” (BRAND NEW!)…plus some of their
latest releases such as embossed transparencies, Art Stitched Mulberry paper, Say it in Pearls and new lace ribbons
(that we will be dying in class to match!) and lots of BLING!!
I’ll also give you a basic knowledge of inks and dyes while using awesome products from Ranger and Tattered
Angels!!
